Jessi Arrington is co-founder of WORKSHOP, a Brooklyn-based studio focused on merging design and social responsibility. Clients include TED, Echoing Green, Google and GOOD. Jessi’s favorite color is rainbow and her default answer is YES. In her own words: “I love color. No, seriously, I LOVE color. Especially rainbows. I scour flea markets and thrift shops of the world, giddily feeding my obsession. I work as a graphic designer alongside the coolest people on the planet. Elaine Corriveau

Élaine Corriveau holds a bachelor's degree in piano and voice performance from McGill University, where she met her husband, Benoit Glazer, in 1993. In 2000, they began hosting free concerts in their home, and they have now grown to become a cultural phenomenon in Orlando, attracting performers from all over the world and a small, loyal audience of people who enjoy the arts and music. Since 2007, the concerts have been held in their new home, built with the concerts in mind — complete with a stage, artful lighting, and a state of the art recording studio.

Benoit Glazer

At 21, Benoit Glazer was on the faculty at McGill University's Jazz department. He became one of Montreal's busiest musicians, appearing regularly on TV, on movie soundtracks, and on several dozen CD's. In 1998, he emigrated to Orlando with his family to be the Musical Director at La Nouba (Cirque du Soleil), a post he still occupies today. He volunteers at Boone High School, where he conducts the jazz band every day.

Cesar Harada coordinates Open_Sailing, a group developing the open-source International Ocean Station. Among IOS projects is Protei, a fleet of semi-autonomous sailing drones that can collect spilled oil safely and inexpensively, are hurricane-ready, self-righting and unbreakable, and easy to manufacture for immediate response.

Ben Hoyer is the founder and director of Downtown Credo, a non-profit focused on improving the quality of lives in our nation’s cities by cultivating networks of meaning, impact and community. Halfway through its second year, Downtown Credo has established five partner charities, opened a donations-only coffee shop, and is preparing to set up shop their second city, Austin, TX. New to the non-profit world, Ben does not claim to be an expert at much except the CREDO. It is a statement of belief that calls folks to action and seeks to improve their quality of life.

Daniel Karslake is a film director and producer who is currently working on "Every Three Seconds," a feature documentary about ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things to eradicate extreme poverty. His first film, "For the Bible Tells Me So," premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival, won nine “Best Documentary” audience awards at prestigious film festivals across the country and was on the short list for a 2008 Academy Award.

Darren McDaniel is a strategist, sociologist, educator, entrepreneur, and hat-juggling creative — a deliberate idealist. Darren is the Founding Director of Orlando's Urban ReThink, a community hub geared to empower independent professionals and stimulate collaborative minds. By creating a model where seemingly disparate groups and ideas collide and collaborate in new ways, Darren seeks to incite purposeful action, economic growth and community evolution. In addition to his work helming Urban ReThink, Darren is a professor of Digital Storytelling at Full Sail University.

Andrew McGregor is the founder of The Tiziano Project, a non-profit that teaches citizen journalism to locals in conflict zones and neglected parts of the world such as Rwanda, Somalia, DR Congo, Iraq, slums of Kenya, and a Los Angeles youth prison. To support Tiziano he is also a comic book publisher, film festival co-founder, chessboxing champion, filmmaker, and photojournalist.

An award-winning neuroscientist with a deep appreciation for the rewards and benefits of teaching, Wendy Suzuki holds a faculty position in the Center for Neural Science at New York University, where she also runs an active research lab. Her research focuses on understanding the patterns of brain activity underlying long-term memory as well as the role of aerobic exercise in improving learning, memory and cognition.
